Hi Nick For a best finish prime then sand with 120 sand paper ( very light sanding) In the cut out mouldings you may need to rub down with a rough wire wool You may wish to repeat the process It's personal preference before top coating... Dear Sirs

I built my bungalow in 1976 on Sussex clay before the foundation depths were really appreciated needless to say we have lived with subsidence cracks ever since.
There are two walls and a ceiling which I think could be panelled over if the movement can be confined to specific points, that is either side and perhaps a concealed joint in the centre. This is no doubt an issue have come across in the past and so I am enquiring whether your panel system can be fitted to deal with this.

However, we predominantly manufacture 18mm moisture resistant Finsa Medium Density Fibre(MDF)

a. What is the quality of your MDF?

We only use superior quality MDF for you and your panels. The MDF is predominantly made up of portuguese pitch pine timber and is only available from limited suppliers

b. Why do you use this type of MDF?

How do I finish my Oak/oak veneer panelling in my bathroom?

Stain with wood dye (depending on how dark you wish to go)

then 3 coats of polyurathene/yacht varnish

then wax

Can we put your wall panels over our unsightly UPVC conservatory panelling?

Yes you can put wall panelling panels on to upvc with silicone and the reason why we recommend silcione is because the UPVC in the conservtory will naturally expand and contract due to changes of temperature and silicone will uniquely allow for that movment too when the timer panels have been fitted...

Hi Shona yes the 18 mm oak/oak veneer is made up as follows 1. framework of 12mm oak faced mdf 2. Then a 6mm mdf oak/oak veneer back 3. Hi Donna On the website www.wallpanellingltd.com on the right hand side is a heading which says How to Install. Under that heading is 1a video showing how to install 2. How to install in picture form and 3Also writing instructions too To paint the panels use a good acrylic primer and then a good acrylic top coat Many customers like applying colours from the heritage range of Farrow and ball and the TV Interior Design presenters use colours from the Little Green Paint Company.. The panels are sanded here however there may be some areas in the corners that need a little sanding down, Hope that helps! Hello,

We are very interested in having one wall in our bedroom panelled, but have a query first:

The wall in question is an outer facing wall of an old stone cottage. This stone wall is plastered but gets very cold in winter. We are hoping a layer of wood panelling will help to warm the wall by acting as a sort of insulating layer. Can you tell me in your experience does panelling help to keep the cold out?

We are considering the read and bead panelling option.
